The Mahatma Gandhi Institute has given concrete commitment to its yearly cultural activities. Being a national event, the flag raising ceremony is organized in all the schools of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. Composite programmes are presented with the participation of staff and students of the School of  Performing Arts on the occasion of Divali. The students of the School of Performing Arts are also given the opportunity to demonstrate their talent on stage on the occasion of the Annual Day and the End of Year Children's show. Moreover, at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute, academics as well as students have the privilege to appreciate performances of external examiners and visiting artists during workshops and recitals. The School of Fine Arts has as its yearly activity, the vernissage of the Salon De Mai. The Annual Garlanding Ceremony is held to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The Mahatma Gandhi Institute staff and students are also very well appreciated for their performances at the national and international levels. Furthermore, lectures talks, workshops and seminars are held throughout the year.
