Mahatma Gandhi Secondary School Moka (MGSS Moka)

The Mahatma Gandhi Secondary School Moka is one member of the seven schools run under the aegis of the MGI/RTI Council. It was set up in 2003. The school aims at being a top performing institution and will endeavour to provide quality education to its students and enhances teaching and learning opportunities for both students and staff by promoting a learning environment in the school.

The Mahatma Gandhi Secondary School Flacq is one member of the seven schools run under the aegis of the MGI/RTI Council . It was set up in 2003. The school aims at being a top performing institution and will endeavour to provide quality education to its students and enhances teaching and learning opportunities for both students and staff by promoting a learning environment in the school.

Rabindranath Tagore Secondary School (RTSS)

The RTSS started operating under the aegis of the MGI/RTI as from January 2003. It is worth mentioning that the first intake of pupils took place in January 2002 when the school was a State Secondary School, run under the aegis of the Ministry of Education. However, following the MGI/RTI Act of December 2002, the MGI/RTI Council overtook the responsibility of managing the school.

Gandhian Basic School (GBS)

The Gandhian Basic School (GBS) was set-up in 1984 aimed at embodying the Gandhian sense of social justice as well as Gandhian principles of basic, adapted, practical education. The two constituent departments of the MGI,namely the MGI Secondary School and the Gandhian Basic School dedicated to secondary education, have made a difference, not only in imparting knowledge and skills but also promoting the overall development-affective and cultural- of the child.
